Great Wolf Lodge

For my parents annual summer trip with all of their grandsons, we went to Great Wolf Lodge.  We were there for a couple of nights last summer, and the kids have been asking to go back ever since.  So, we went for three nights this time.  I always tag along for a set of extra hands.  We all had a great time...after four days with four lively boys, the adults were half-dead and the kids were wishing for more!  : )

Day 1
We got to DFW a little early so we went to eat lunch at Cracker Barrel.  The kids enjoyed playing the big checkers and trying out the rocking chairs to kill some time.  Here's how they left the board for the next players...

When we got to the hotel, the kids gazed at the park while Grammy and Grampy got us checked in.  They could not wait to get in there!

When we got into the room, they checked out the whole place...it was just like the room we stayed in last summer, but still fun to check it out again!  The big boys each had their own bed in the "cabin" part of the room.

We had a great view of the planes coming and going from DFW Airport.  Gavin loved to watch them and exclaimed "airplane" every time he saw one!

The boys were itching to get down to the water park, so we got all our gear on and headed that way.

After a couple hours in the water, the boys were starving again.  So, we got cleaned up and headed to dinner.  After dinner, it was time for bed so we could rest up for another big day!
