Has it really been 2 months?

Ok...so I'm not a very good manager of the blog when I have to work...I was much better in the summer! During the week, I go to work, come home, feed the fam, we all play for awhile, then it's bath and bed time for Aidan...and then I'm pretty pooped. I don't last much longer than the little guy! But, I should at least post on the weekends to keep everyone updated. Here's what's been going on with us...

Aidan turned 3! He had a Batman party with a bunch of family around...it was a really fun day for everyone. He got tons of cool toys and has not stopped playing with them since.

Playing at his new desk that Grampy made on his new computer! The desk is awesome...Aidan loves drawing and coloring at it. He loves his computer, too. He can "work" on it and "check his e-mail"...too cute!

His gigantic Star Wars ship that daddy picked out...as my aunt said...it is a doll house for star wars things! But, he loves it and it holds his attention for long periods of time...and daddy likes playing with it, too! ; )

I went back to DFW for a weekend visit with my old friends and some fam, too! I had a blast...spent some time at my old school to see people I used to work with, went to the football game Friday night and got to see a bunch of my old students, hung out with girlfriends on Saturday, got my hair done with my old hair guy, and then spent Saturday night and Sunday with my cousin Lindsay. It was so fun to see everyone and catch up...I want to go back again!

Halloween was fun...Aidan was a Storm Trooper and enjoyed trick-or-treating. We made it a little farther than last year...he went to about 4 houses last year before he sat down on the sidewalk and announced that he was done. This year, we made it about halfway around the block and then he said, "that's enough treats!" So, we went back to Big D and Cookie's house and he had fun answering the door for the rest of the trick-or-treaters.

If all goes well, we should know the sex of the new baby this coming Thursday! We are excited to find out...we would love to have a girl, but it would be so neat to give Aidan a brother, too. So, we'll see! I know my mom is thinking pink...she wants a girl to hang out with when all the boys want to be in the garage with Grampy!
